Foundation for African Children Education (FACE) aims to provide opportunities for children in rural parts of Africa, who could otherwise not be able to go to school, to attend school. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to attend primary school as a starting point. We are convinced that education is the best way to break the cycle of poverty for children in rural areas of Africa. It is well understood that poor uneducated children grow up to be poor uneducated adults. Children of poor families are less likely to enroll in and complete schooling because of the associated costs of attending school. Help a child go to school in Africa. You can get involved! Opportunities are available to sponsor a child or to volunteer to deliver school kits to children in Africa. If you would like to donate or volunteer, please contact us.
The cost of uniforms, supplies and transportation may well be beyond the means of a poor family, especially when the family has several children of school age.
