THE FRUITS YOU BEAR

We are now in our 17th year of sponsoring children to receive an education. After so many years, a common question we’re asked is: What are the fruits? People want to know the success stories of the children we’ve sponsored.

On our last trip in March of this year we made it a point to meet some of our past sponsored students to find out about how FACE has changed their lives. We arranged to meet several of them in the villages we visited.

This newsletter is the first in a series we are calling the “Fruits You Bear”, where we will share some of the interviews from past students.

In the video attached, you will hear Don Wolfe, a member of our Board of Directors, interview Miss Joyce Owusu in the village of Bodoma. Joyce was sponsored by FACE for six years, from primary through Junior Secondary School. She then continued to Senior Secondary School and after graduating got a job as a teacher in her community, where she has been working for the past two years.

Please hear Joyce Owusu tell in her own words how the FACE sponsorship she received has changed her life.
